The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Diversity-Led, Mission-Driven Research (DiveIn CDT) is a new doctoral training opportunity at the University of Glasgow, focused on bringing together diverse teams to tackle interdisciplinary, mission-driven challenges at the forefront of research.

Applications to join in 2026 are now closed. Applications to join the CDT in 2027 will open later in the autumn.

DiveIn is looking to recruit scientists from a wide range of backgrounds and disciplines to join the CDT for fully funded four-year interdisciplinary PhDs starting in September 2027, in one or more of the following strategic research areas:

Global Challenges: Beyond Net Zero, Bridging the Digital Divide, Planetary Health, and Transforming Health and Healthcare.

Enabling Technologies: Advanced Connectivity Technology, Advanced Materials, AI and Big Data, Engineering Biology, Photonics, and Quantum Technologies.
