The EPSRC funded Centre for Doctoral Training in Diversity-Driven Mission-Led Research (DiveIn CDT) is a new doctoral training opportunity at the University of Glasgow, focused on bringing together diverse teams to tackle interdisciplinary, mission-driven challenges at the forefront of research.

With applications due to open in September 2024, the DiveIn CDT is looking to recruit scientists from a wide range of backgrounds and disciplines to join the CDT for fully funded four-year interdisciplinary PhDs starting in the 2025/26 academic year (starting in September 2025), in one or more of the six priority areas listed below:

  1. Beyond Net Zero
  2. Artificial Intelligence and Big Data
  3. Technology Touching Life
  4. Quantum Technologies
  5. Future Telecoms
  6. Problem-Based Interdisciplinary Research

The funding provided for these fully funded PhDs will include four years of both tuition fees and stipends (currently confirmed as £19,132 for the 2024/25 academic year).
