Research fields:
Computational mechanics, Machine learning for constitutive modelling, Digital twin for geohazards

Strategic Research Areas

Personal profile:

My research passion is computational modelling for geotechnical engineering. I aim to resolve some challenging and pressing problems for the net-zero transition and climate change resilience. I am particularly interested in using AI to make geotechnical design more efficient; I am also very interested in building digital twins for geohazards, such as coastal erosion and landslides, to improve the resilience of our infrastructure and coastal communities. I am keen to develop PhD projects related to my research expertise. I am committed to EDI, which I believe is crucial for innovation in engineering.
