I am passionate about my research discipline and the real impact that it can have on people's lives through applications in assisted living, sports, and animal welfare. It is about driving research forward and creating impact for society.
Personal profile:

My research focuses on smart radar systems, assisted living, animal welfare. This connects with areas in engineering, science, social sciences, medical and veterinary sciences, as well as interdisciplinary studies for such things such as policy development for example.

Research in precision medicine and farming goes across the board of disciplines involving all four colleges at the University of Glasgow (Arts, MVLS, Social Sciences, Science, and Engineering).

I am a supervisor who is centered around the person and the project they chose to deliver or that we thought have at inception guiding by being just as involved as the situation needs and concerning the comfort of the person. Working in healthcare is to make sure that everyone gets access to tools to help for daily living not just the rich and famous.

I am aware of EDI and have provided support to students to ensure they work in a safe and supportive environment.
