Why do you want to join the DiveIn community?
I would like to join the DiveIn CDT because my research areas align closely with the aims and scope of the DiveIn CDT community & my main research area (battery) is crucial to the core themes of the Divein CDT.
Personal profile:

My research passion is to apply my knowledge & experience to make a true impact in our society, on net zero transition through battery research. Our group is focusing on all relevant aspects of battery research, not only on battery materials but also the circularity, processing, manufacturing, and design of batteries. I would like to form collaborations with various supervisors specialising in other areas, such as AI/Big Data, Energy/Grids, Telecommunications, and Quantum Technologies, which are expected to incur significant synergy in producing magnificent outcomes.

A number of multidisciplinary research projects has already been conducted and is ongoing, such as using AI/big data to predict/diagnose the state of health or performance of batteries, connecting batteries with the electrical grids and improving the efficiency of batteries in net zero transport, the battery design for wireless communication applications (such as wireless earplugs), and close look into the quantum batteries. I am interested in undertaking 3 different projects on combining battery with i) AI/big data, ii) telecommunications, and iii) quantum batteries, which will be of very interesting topics that lead to 4* REF publications, high societal/cultural/technological impacts, and further strengthening the reputation of the university. I have a sustained track record of supervision and co-supervision in multiple institutions around the globe, being able to work with many different academic staff members and students with various backgrounds. Some of the graduated students/postdocs that I had are now working at multi-national corporations and research institutes in Germany, South Korea, and India, which highlight the international visibility of my supervised students. This also reflects critically on my commitment to EDI & demonstrates my experience/track record in EDI.

Outside of working as a supervisor, I am having a number of hobbies, which include playing the chess, hiking, fishing, and reading books. The favorite movie that I like to watch is the Twilight Saga and I also used to like watching the Larry King show.
