As an academic (Senior Lecturer in Engineering Systems Design) and an entrepreneur (Founder and CEO of www.studentvoice.ai), I find myself situated at the intersection of engineering systems design, artificial intelligence (AI), and education. My passion lies in exploring the intricacies of complex systems and harnessing the power of AI to derive actionable insights, specifically within the higher education sector.

Through my company, Student Voice, we focus on text analysis for higher education, leveraging AI techniques to accurately and consistently dissect student feedback. This analysis allows for sector comparison along with demographic and historical analysis, thus providing institutions with data-driven guidance to improve their pedagogical techniques and student engagement strategies across a range of student groups.

My mission is to bridge the gap between technology and education, providing scalable, effective solutions that respect the rights and privacy of all stakeholders involved.

I am keen on forming collaborations with professionals from various disciplines including but not limited to education, data science, ethics, and psychology. Interactions with diverse perspectives can lead to innovations that a single perspective might not see.
