DiveIn Management

I manage the day-to-day running and lead the administration of the Centre, including its operations and strategic planning, marketing and communications, financial management, project reporting and governance. I am supported by a professional services team based at the Doctoral Training Hub.

I have extensive experience supporting students in higher education, coordinating multi-partner programmes and managing research awards.

I am the External Engagement Manager for the DiveIn CDT, and my key activities are to support the existing external partner membership and to recruit more high-quality partners from across the public, private and not for profit sectors.

I join the DiveIn CDT from the Scotland 5G Centre where my role was the Business Engagement Manager for the South of Scotland 5G Innovation Hub based at the Crichton, Dumfries. I bring to the DiveIn CDT post over 40 years leadership and management experience from various roles including two CEO roles.

As the administrator for DiveIn, I provide administrative support and contribute to the day-to-day running of the Centre. I will be your first point of contact for student, staff and partner queries relating to DiveIn and the DT Hub more widely. By supporting the external and internal communications, I will ensure a smooth and clear enquiries process across and beyond the College.

Having just completed a Master’s degree at the University of St Andrews, I have first-hand experience being a student in Scotland’s post-graduate HE landscape. Therefore, I hope to be a  friendly face that enhances your student experience with DiveIn from start to finish.

I’m the Events Coordinator for the DiveIn CDT. I support the planning and delivery of a diverse range of events across the CDT

I’ve worked in higher education for over a decade, and before joining DiveIn I spent several years supporting doctoral researchers in the Arts and Humanities through the Scottish Graduate School for the Arts and Humanities. There, I helped deliver training and events across 17 universities in Scotland, working closely with students and partners to create meaningful development opportunities.

I’m excited to bring that experience to DiveIn and to help shape events that connect people, spark ideas, and support our researchers throughout their journey.
