Why do you want to join the DiveIn community?

I want to join the DiveIn CDT community because of its strong focus on collaboration, diversity, and real-world impact. I like the idea of working in interdisciplinary teams and co-developing research with people from different backgrounds. It feels like a supportive and dynamic environment where I can grow as a researcher while contributing to meaningful challenges.

Organisation profile

We are a research-focused organisation working at the intersection of next-generation wireless communications, artificial intelligence, and networked systems. Our work targets 6G and beyond, with a focus on intelligent, adaptive, and data-driven communication technologies.

Our key activities include research in integrated sensing and communications (ISAC), agentic AI for network optimisation, digital twins for communication systems, and reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS). We develop algorithms, simulation frameworks, and system-level solutions to improve efficiency, scalability, and intelligence in wireless networks. While we do not currently host PhD students, we provide opportunities for postgraduate researchers through Research Assistant and Postdoctoral positions. These roles support progression into academia, industrial R&D, and advanced engineering careers.

We are committed to fostering an inclusive and collaborative research environment, supporting diversity in perspectives, backgrounds, and ideas. Our approach encourages open collaboration and equitable participation in research and innovation.

We are part of DiveIn because of its emphasis on diversity-led, interdisciplinary collaboration and its focus on solving real-world challenges. This aligns with our vision of combining AI, communications, and systems research to deliver impactful solutions. We are interested in working with CDTs to contribute to interdisciplinary training and collaborate on innovative research projects.

Key challenges we aim to address include autonomous network optimisation, scalable ISAC systems, RIS integration, and digital twin-enabled adaptive networks. We are keen to collaborate with academic and industry partners across communications, AI, and systems engineering.

We can offer access to data, simulation tools, lab and hardware environments, mentorship, and exposure to real-world research challenges. We aim to support postgraduate researchers through meaningful collaboration, skill development, and opportunities to work on impactful next-generation communication systems.
